Drawn arc welding

Drawn Arc Stud

Since 2010, we have been producing welding studs for drawn arc welding too. These are generally manufactured as "turned parts". We produce drawn arc studs in-house to DIN EN ISO 13918:2017. All types are available with or without aluminium ball. We can also supply the corresponding ceramic rings on request.

Our drawn arc studs are available virtually exclusively in turned quality. They are manufactured in our Machining department.

What is turned quality? The studs are manufactured in a machining process on our CNC lathes. The advantage of this is that the studs have a well defined tip to benefit your welding. The tip of the stud can be positioned accurately in the centre punch of the workpiece. This allows for more precise placement of the stud. Turned studs are also higher quality than pressed drawn arc studs.
If the price is the crucial factor and the quantity is right, these studs can also be manufactured as a pressed part.

As a producer, we can respond flexibly and carry out production according to drawings or diagrams. Neither small quantities nor large-scale series are a problem for us.
